Plans, storage, and media quality for private Family and Friends groups

mtrz is invite-only. There is no public feed and no stranger discovery. One person buys Premium for a group; everyone in that group gets the paid features. Premium plans are sized by how many people the group can hold. Prices below are USD monthly list prices from our store catalog and may vary slightly by region or store.
Free vs Premium
What’s included in Free?
Chat, DMs, calendars, up to 2 members, 1 GB shared storage, album-saved memories, and the newest 30 non-album group messages. Photo and video sharing and scheduling conflict tools require Premium. When media limits apply on Free, quality is capped at 720p video, ~2 MP photos, and 10 MB documents.
What’s included in Premium?
Everything in Free, plus photo and video sharing, full group history, calendar conflict tools for admins, 2 GB shared storage, and larger member plans. Premium media quality is 1080p video, ~8 MP photos, and 25 MB documents. Premium is required before you can buy storage or Media Quality add-ons.
Premium plans
Pick a size for how many people the group can hold. Soft nags appear if membership grows past the plan; you can upgrade in the app.

Quality
Quality is the encode ceiling for photos and videos the group sends (and document size limits). Higher-resolution camera files are reduced to the group’s tier; lower-resolution files are not upscaled.

Do I need the Quality add-on for normal family photos?
Usually no. Premium already includes 1080p / ~8 MP, which covers most phone photos and HD video. Buy the add-on when you want 4K video, near full-resolution modern phone stills, or 50 MB documents.
Is there a separate 1080p add-on?
Premium already includes 1080p. The catalog may still list a legacy 1080 quality SKU for older subscriptions; new Premium groups do not need a separate 1080 purchase.
Storage add-ons
Storage is a shared pool for the group’s photos, videos, and documents. Upgrades replace the pool size (they do not stack on top of each other).

Billing and canceling
Who pays, and who gets the features?
Any group member can buy Premium for the whole group. Features attach to the selected group. Leaving the group or deleting your mtrz account can remove paid features from that group, but it does not cancel store billing.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your Apple ID or Google Play settings. We can’t refund an App Store purchase; ask Apple. For Google Play, start in your Play order history, or write to us on Support.
Where do I manage plans in the app?
Open the group → Group details for plan status, storage, and quality. Account → Restore purchases if a charge already went through. See also pricing on the home page.
